Kat’s specialty is client communications and the successful implementation and management of their select marketing campaigns. With an extensive background in advertising, promotions, event marketing and media relations, her strengths and skills lie in promotional creativity, details, execution and client ROI.

Kat is a seasoned professional when it comes to writing press releases, copy writing, editing and engaging media partners. She is also proficient in website design, development, content management systems, search engine optimization and the training of our clients in managing their individual corporate websites. Her knowledge of social media interaction as it applies to business marketing and promotion is a direct asset to SegMark’s marketing practices and strategies.

Kat has had a noteworthy career in the marketing, advertising, and communications arena. Prior to joining SegMark, Kat spent 10 years in the professional tennis industry working for the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI as Director of Communications heading up the Marketing, Media and PR department. She was the strategic liaison between the national and international sports media and Hall of Fame legends, including Rod Laver, Martina Navratilova, John McEnroe, Billie Jean King, Ivan Lendl, Jimmy Connors, Stefan Edberg, Boris Becker, Matts Wilander, Patrick Rafter, Gabriela Sabatini, Steffi Graf, Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras among others.

Prior to her Hall of Fame post, she was the Deputy Director of Public Relations for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, owners of Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Conn., where she directed and managed the public relations staff and led the marketing, advertising and promotional initiatives for several Tribal entities.
